Sean O’Neill works collaboratively with clients to help them achieve their financial goals. He believes in structuring portfolios to mitigate risk while balancing the need for the preservation of a client’s standard of living in retirement. His client-centered, practical, and systematic approach to investing while focusing on his client’s core values helps Sean provide wealth management, retirement, and legacy planning effectively for his pre-retirement and retired clients.
Before joining Legacy Private Wealth Partners, Sean was a financial advisor for 25 years at several national investment firms. He’s originally from St. Louis and is a 1994 graduate of Truman State University, where he was captain of the swim team and recognized as a scholar athlete. He earned a master’s degree from East Carolina University before moving to Denver and beginning his career as a Financial Advisor. Sean is a Registered Investment Advisor Agent and holds multiple security licenses including the Series 7, 9, 10, and 63, as well as Life, Health, and Long-Term Care licenses. In 2002 Sean earned the Certified Financial Planner® designation.
In his spare time, Sean enjoys mountain biking and running, and in the winter months, skiing, and snowshoeing. He and his wife, Lori, enjoy traveling in the US and abroad. They live with their daughter Emerson and Corgi, Molly.
